About us

The Quality and Process Reliability(QPR) laboratory,formed since 2007 and directed by Dr.Yihai He,is part of the  School of Reliability and Systems Engineering at the  Beihang University(BUAA).
According to the new quality and reliability demands from the development of Industry4.0 and China Manufacturing 2025,our group's vision is to develop the interdisciplinary studies of quality engineering,reliability engineering and production systems engineering based on the theory of system engineering.Our research interests include quality data analytics,quality based reliability modeling and analysis,quality risk analysis and early warning,root causes analysis of infant failures,reliability techniques in manufacturing.To sum up, through innovation we aim to create theory to cognize the nature of reliability in manufacturing and provide techniques to improve it.
Our group has published over 60 papers on international journals and conferences, and 11 postgraduates have been graduated.
